Used for initiating no 8 plain detonators in blasting boulders, single hole or small firing groups. It has a standart burning rate of around 115±15 sn/m. The core of the safety fuse is composed of black powder and it is tightly wrapped by textiles. Outer layers are covered with waterproof materials such as PVC and asphalt.
