Electric detonators are produced in two groups according to the shell material  as aluminium and copper detonators. They are available as instant electric detonators or delayed electric detonators .

Instant electrical detonators are used  for  the  explosion of all the holes at the same time.

Aluminium delayed electric detonators are used  for  all kinds of blasting initiation purposes in underground mining , surface mining in quarries and in all general purpose  blasting works.

Aluminium Detonators: They are used in all mines except coal mines. Three  types of aluminium detanators are available:

Instant (No: 0)

Short Delay (No: 0-20) 25 ms or 30 ms delayed

Long Delay (No:0-12) 500 ms delayed

All aluminium detonators are produced in 6, 8 or 8 star strenght according to the request.

Copper Detonators:  They are used in coal mines where  there is matene  or coal  dust explosion risk. According to usage purpose they are seperated delayed and instant detonators.

Delay numbers are  0-6, delay interval is 25 ms.copper  cable length shall be indicated at order.
